Whether liberal arts, communication design, media, stage design, urban design, integrative design, information design, digital design, industrial design or material design: the perspectives at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) Offenbach are diverse. Burning social issues have their place just as much as scientific-theoretical discussions.

The HfG Offenbach is an art college with university status. We want to enable students to maintain an overview of a rapidly changing society and to help shape it with self-confidence. Following the tradition of the Bauhaus and the HfG Ulm, our workshops, studios and labs, individual supervision and the interlocking of practice and theory offer an open space for creative development, exchange and networking. The changeover to Bachelor/Master in the winter semester 22/23 enables an interdisciplinary interpenetration of art and design that is unique in Germany. We are committed to providing society with impulses from art and design.

To this end, we maintain a wide-ranging network of diverse collaborations, both nationally and internationally. In all of this, the HfG is guided by one conviction: that the triad of diversity, sustainability and equality is the keynote of a fairer future.
